TARRLOK • disfavored His asshole of a brother with the self-contradictory superiority and inferiority complexes. The only thing that stops them from tearing each other apart is the gentle reminder that Dad was a bigger asshole than they ever were. The love is there, really. Somewhere.
NAMORITA PRENTISS • littlecousin Has no blessed idea she is a part of the Atlantean royal family his rails against with prickly suspicion. First blonde ever met (still convinced it's a strange mutation) and because she is so damn lovely in both personality and countenance he just dances to her tune. It's sickeningly twee but it keeps the terrorist activity down. Great legs.
MARIUS PONTMERCY • saisamour His assistant at the clinic put in charge of all the paper pushing. Nice kid with a good head on his shoulders when it isn't floating in the clouds. No clue who or what a Cosette is, but Amon keeps seeing it scribbled all over his paperwork. Marius ffs
HAYTHAM KENWAY • dominare Makes up part of the Dead Fox Club aka Society of Dead Gentlemen Over Thirty-Five. Only knows Haytham as decent enough company to keep around and sharp enough in the tongue to be an excellent verbal sparring partner. Unaware of Amon's Jacobin leanings-- likewise Amon has no idea of Haytham being a giant Daddy Issue.
INSPECTOR JAVERT • inseine Dead Fox Club member and someone else who saw a quick end underwater. Enough in common to tolerate, and has a charming enough personality (albeit severe, occasionally off-putting and temperamental...ok total opposite of charming but amon likes him??) An Ok Enough Personality to overlook minor disarrangements. So long as one doesn't catch the other trying to start a revolution it's all good.
SABRIEL • bindsthedead His English teacher, and most impossible woman he ever knew. Claims to have gone between Life and Death although Amon doesn't believe her for a second. Finds her company to be enlightening for however frustrating it is but he's disquieted, to say the least, by her dabbling in magic and her baptising others into Charter mages. Something should be done about this nonsense.
SORANIK NATU • onefouroneseven A voice of reason and, along with Kyle Rayner, the only shot Amon has of cleaning up his act in the political arena. He values her input.
KYLE RAYNER • imaginate Possibly the only chance Amon has of legitimizing his arguments of the dangers of unchecked power in the wake of Korra's arrival. Yeah really.
TEMERAIRE • dracobin A dragon whose loyalty he (really) unintentionally gained over the course of his time spent with the Les Amis, and their actions at the stockade riots. Admires Temeraire's insistence on questioning everything from the political to the religious and values his insight more than his brute strength.
ALCUIN NÓ DELAUNAY • virginprice A quick-witted, educated boy that apparently knew Favrielle, a woman Amon was fond of. They were never formally introduced until after Favrielle had gone and not again until they were imprisoned together after the stockade riots. Has earned Amon's respect for being a non-combatant that had held his own during the riots.
